Re: Recipe discussion for brew day at Transplants on Jan 2nd

What about something like below?I had the C-60 for color, but it looks like the Munich will do the same and would be a better option. Adjust if you think it should be a different ratio. Maybe Matt can plug in the numbers and see what the SRM would be based on the below malts. I should also add: Shoo...

Recipe discussion for brew day at Transplants on Jan 2nd

We have a planned collaboration brew with Transplants on Jan 2nd. The idea is to do a red IPA. Since Matt and Sarah are sourcing the ingredients, I would defer to them. I'll offer up some generalities below for discussion trying to keep KISS in mind 32% 2-row 32% Pale malt 16% C-60 15% Rye 5% Roaste...

Meetup at Transplants on Saturday, July 17th, 2021

Hey All, I figured it was time I let someone buy me a beer. Transplants is hosting the Ridgecrest Homebrews this Saturday with a brew day. Matt says they are starting at 10am and the BEAVR's are welcomed to join in. I plan to be there in the early afternoon, maybe around 1pm. It would be great to se...

Re: MARCH 2020 MEETING - Friday March 6th at Transplants @ 8:00p

Yes, we are planning a BEAVR brew day at Transplants on Saturday, March 14th. The plan is to brew ~20 gallons, 15 for the tap room and 5 for fest of a easy drinking cream ale with strawberries. Transplants has almost all the equipment we need, but we are in need of 3 more ~6 gallons fermenters. I'll...

Re: BEAVR HOMEBREW DEMONSTRATION DAY @ TRANSPLANTS October 13th

Unless someone has another recipe, was thinking of this: https://beerandbrewing.com/perfect-pumpkin-ale-recipe/

The Sanke fermenter, might be too heavy to lift into the keezer, I can bring two ~6 gallon fermenters, could use a third of forth, we’ll plan on around 10 to start.
